Administrative Assistant - Beyond Brexit Project
 
20 hours per week (flexible hours to be decided)
1 year Fixed Term - £10.50 / hour
 
Benn Partnership Centre is a well-known charity in Rugby, Warwickshire, well-known for its exceptional work in a multi-ethnic community. The motivation of its staff and volunteers to work as a team to empower every individual to walk through the doors, through educational, social and cultural programmes has been well appreciated.
 
We are looking for an experienced Administration Assistant to help us with our administrative needs for the Beyond Brexit project, a flagship project funded by the Rugby Benevolent Fund.
You will report to the Beyond Brexit Manager.
 
Duties:
 
1. Be the first point of contact for all activities and initiatives falling under the umbrella of the Beyond Brexit project.
 
2. Manage communications between various stakeholders.
 
3. Support the Manager to develop and modify effective marketing and communication tools for the project.
 
4.General administrative duties such as collating reports and summaries, updating and maintaining databases, prepare content for publicity, websites, social media, brochures, flyers and conferences, managing filing systems and archiving of information.
 
5. Basic budgeting responsibilities
 
What you need:
 
1. Previous experience in an administrative role.
 
2. High level skills in Microsoft Office suite or similar suites.
 
3. Ability to produce reports, brochures and leaflets.
 
4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
 
5. Attention to detail, a methodical approach to work, team mentality and a positive attitude.
 
6. Ability to work without supervision.
 
This is a 1 year, fixed term position for 20 hours per week, which will be confirmed after a probationary period. If you love being with people and have great administrative skills, we would like to hear from you.
