Your Story, Your Collection is an exciting community project in the heart of Rugby. It will reach out to residents of Rugby to collaboratively discover, create and record heritage.
We are looking for a Community Project Coordinator and Facilitator to build on a longstanding partnership with a local community centre and a new partnership with Rugby Black Lives Matter group. The Coordinator will use Rugby Art Gallery and Museum collections to explore and expand local stories, with activities that include outreach sessions at the community centre, collections digitisation, oral history recordings, collaborative displays, and visual art workshops. The aim of the project is to connect with residents and enable them to discover, contribute to and influence the town’s local history collection.
